Privacy Policy

How we handle the personal data you share with us — in plain language.

Last updated: 10 August 2026

1. Who we are

Aarna Weaves is a woven fabric manufacturer and exporter based at Plot No. 116-117-118, Anjali Textile Park-2, Kachhab, Surat, Gujarat 394540, India. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@aarnaweaves.com, or by post at the address above.

2. What data we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. Through our enquiry form we collect:

  • Your name and email address — required, so we can reply to you
  • Company and country — optional, to understand who we are quoting for
  • Fabric of interest, estimated quantity and your message — optional, so we can prepare a relevant quotation
  • The page you enquired from — so we know which fabric you were reading about

If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp instead, we hold whatever contact details and correspondence that exchange contains.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and we do not ask for payment details through this website.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To follow up on an enquiry and maintain a business relationship. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to potential customers (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To understand how the website is used in aggregate, so we can improve it. Legal basis: your consent where required, and otherwise our legitimate interest in maintaining the site.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers that make this website work:

  • Web3Forms — processes our enquiry form and relays submissions to our inbox. Your form data passes through their servers on its way to us.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — provides aggregate website usage statistics, using cookies and identifiers as described in section 6.
  • Firebase Hosting (Google) — serves this website and processes technical connection data such as IP addresses in server logs.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so. We do not otherwise pass your details to third parties.

5. International transfers

We are based in India, and our service providers operate internationally. If you contact us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your personal data will be transferred outside that area — including to India, which has not received an adequacy decision from the European Commission.

Where such a transfer takes place, it is made because it is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract with you, or on the basis of the relevant provider's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies for marketing purposes. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages buyers find useful. Google Analytics sets cookies containing a randomly generated identifier and records information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and device and browser type.

You can prevent this at any time by using your browser's cookie controls, by enabling a "do not track" or content-blocking extension, or by installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics does not affect your ability to use this site or to send us an enquiry.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you if no business relationship follows. Where we enter into a commercial relationship, we retain the records required by applicable Indian tax and company law for the periods those laws prescribe. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration.

8. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Ask us to erase your data, or to restrict how we use it
  • Object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests
  • Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@aarnaweaves.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

9. Security

This website is served over HTTPS, and enquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry correspondence is limited to the members of our team who handle sales and quotations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the data you send us.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
